Mary Bowen, Reiki Master Practitioner
Mary Bowen is a Reiki Master Practitioner having completed 200 hours of training in Reiki levels I, II, and III (Master Level). She received her Reiki I certification in Maryland with master teacher, Rev. Beverly Saunders-Biddle and her Reiki II & III certifications through the New York Open Center with master teacher, Joanna Crespo in NYC. Mary has also recently finished a rigorous 124-hour Reiki Teacher Training (Reiki IV, Teacher) with her master teacher, Joanna Crespo through private invitation only. Mary now teaches others who are interested in their own Reiki certification paths.
Mary’s intention as a Reiki Practitioner is to help others learn that they already know what is best for themselves. She established her Reiki practice as part of her own quest toward finding what feeling balanced and healthy is all about. She is passionate about helping others help themselves and guiding them to their Truth. Through Reiki, one can begin to feel balanced, energized and learn how to listen to their own intuition. Mary guides you toward that balance. The Reiki does the healing.
In addition to her private practice, Mary has volunteered her Reiki services to the NY Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, Brooklyn and to the Miracle House in NYC which closed recently due to lack of funding. It provided housing and support services to those living with AIDS or Cancer. They also provided housing to the families and friends of loved ones who are diagnosed with such diseases.
